Or Possibly Zen in Six

Hemingway is famous for being succinct.  Using small but poignant words was one of his trademarks.  One of his famous quotes is "Writer's write."

He once said that one of his best works was a story he wrote that only had six words:

"For sale: baby shoes, never worn."

Since then the mastery of the 6 word story has take on epic proportions.  The process of writing a good six word story could really almost be considered zen.  Twitter has been one of the best things that has come along since Hemingway to help us think about creating complete cohesive thoughts with a limited amount of words.

There is even a twitter site dedicated to the six word story - because, as you can imagine, six word stories fit nicely in the twitter 140 character format.

Back in 2006 Wired Magazine wrote an article with their favorite 6 word stories.  But even the twitter account does not have any current contributions.

Writing a 6 word story is a challenge.

Write your story today in just 6 words.  Even better if you could do that in less than 5 minutes.  Zen in 6 in 5!
